Sharon Colon
proudly presents A Tour of Bondi Junction
Dear surfers and readers,
I have dusted off the old Kodak Box Brownie
and taken a few snapshots of my the nearest large shopping centre.
For extra reading, I have added some tourist information
taken without alteration from a local web site.
A healthy outdoor sport. Bondi Junction:A few miles (klms) from Downtown Sydney sits
Bondi Junction
up on a ridge looking northwards over Sydney Harbour
and the more affluent suburbs of Rose Bay and Double Bay etc.
This suburb was once the crossroad going east/west and north/south
thus its' name and it is just past
other affluent suburbs of Woolahra and Centennial Park.
Whilst it may be the poor residential cousin
compared to those who share its' borders,
it certainly leaves them for dead when it comes to commerce and shopping.
(Unedited quote from www.ozstar.com)
(And the bit about the crossroad is wrong too.)
