The Fifties Fair for 2011 was held on Sunday 21st August 2011

This is the big one for 1950's enthusiasts and Rockabilly fans.

There will be great entertainment all day, and classic 50's knick knacks, books, clothing and furniture. Good coffee, and great snack food until the caterers run out.

Music

The Drey Rollan Band
A Sydney-based Rockabilly band. The current up-and-coming sensation, with recent gigs around the inner suburbs of Sydney including Glebe and Newtown.

Paulie Bignell and his band
Paulie is up from Melbourne. An extraordinary guitarist, responsible for that crunchy, grinding sound that has made The Detonators irresistable.

Likely Programme: There will be Jimmy amd Margie playing 50's records, dance demos, vehicle displays, street theatre, a 50's hair stylist, and possibly some cabaret acts as well. Make sure you dress up in your favorite 50's gear. Collectors will be in retro paradise with the cream of 50's specialist stalls, while kids are entertained by crafts, hula hoop and dance workshops (adapted from the HHT events newsletters).
